I'd would hate to build a business model strictly on EAS routes should congress decide to start whittling them away. Granted CAPE AIR has survived under the model, will the model exists in a couple of years ?

I flew 2 of those routes so I know they have longer routes but the majority of them are short. Like you said, it wouldn't make much sense to rebuild their fleet based on eas routes.
