I worked for AWAC for 8 years and was lucky enough to move onto a major. I loved AWAC. I came there because of their reputation. I left very bitter. QOL went down the ****ter immensely. Awesome people to work with including their chief pilots (well except MKE from what I heard; no personal experience). But the company has major problems right now which become your problems.

You can expect to be out within 3 years at a major. And if you're prior military flying then there's a decent chance you're right. However, training has very high standards at AWAC (which is good and bad). All it takes is one bad day equaling a failed ride and now your 3 years turns into 5 or 7 or...

Pick a regional that you won't hate working at long term. You never know what can happen in this industry.
