Until we can get relief in the form of an agreement that states a pilots days off awarded in the initial bid can not be changed and lines that are 4/3 we should hold firm.
More efficient schedules not only help the pilots but the company as well. Many will flow soon and attrition will pick up as 10,000 pilots will be hired at the big 8 alone in the next few years.
To vote in anything that doesn’t include firm language that protects QOL would hurt future pilots and also our other WO carriers.
I'm not sold on that thought. I think that any negotiation that we or anyone enters into is a snapshot of where things are at that point. That is why we didn't or couldn't get much in this one. Not warranted just yet...vote what you think but that is the situation we are in.
