The application says 75% travel for the GA side but a lot of people have mentioned being home every night, can someone please explain how much you are away from home? When you do your string training in OKC, are you required to pay for your own lodging?

No, you are given a per diem, which covers long-term lodging, and meals.
I run about 30-50 nights a year, including time at the academy for continuing classes. A lot of that is due to surveillance at a 141 school I have.
