Does it have to say it anywhere? The flight logbook is a legal document and our only way for the PIC to determine the airplane's airworthiness. The book should be intact. If I saw a logbook with missing pages I would question it and have someone bring copies of the missing pages.
How can you verify you have an airworthy airplane if a page is missing from the last 8 day sign off? If you fly an airplane with a missing logbook page from that time period, I’d hate to have to explain it to the FAA. It’s your certificate.
