Actually a lot of us do look back, some MELs may be back more than eight days and we like to read the actual write ups. Regardless, whether you do or not is irrelevant. The logbook is a legal document. It should be intact.
Where does it say that? VOL 1? MCC Manual? I haven't found it anywhere.
Do you really look at every single sequential page? Pages have been pulled. This has been discussed in my recent RGS in July. Pages have been pulled to calm the hysteria on a particular plane.
