You would be guessing incorrectly. I’m transitioning to the private sector after 20 years of mil service. I’m new to your flying world. In my current world, it is my job to know my aircraft, those who fly it along with me, those who maintain it, those who manage the money and assets so I can fly it, and my customers (ground forces). I was trying to correlate all the above I have done for 20 years to what will be my new management, aircrew members, maintainers, etc...

I’m trying to go into this new world with as much info as I can; nothing less, nothing more. If these questions seem or are inappropriate, by all means ignore or remove them. If they are taboo or go against an unwritten code, please let me know as well.
