No you didn't JUST say it was complicated. You said, "If there is that much confusion surrounding it, a better system is needed."

Just because you and others won't make the effort to understand it doesn't mean a "better" system is needed. The complexity of the CBA does build over time but it's a reflection of YOUR union's efforts to improve your pay and benefits.

The company would just LOVE to get rid of the "complexity" because it costs them a fortune. Ignorant (not unintelligent, ignorant) people like you and golfman are the company's wet dream. They'd love to have more guys like you two b!tching about the complexity of the CBA. Their response would be: "You know what? it really is complicated isn't it? How about we just stop guaranteeing people 83 hours of pay in a vacation month? How about we just pay you for the hours you fly, plus your vacation? And the upside is, you'll be able to pick up trips and get paid for every additional hour you fly!! Wouldn't that be awesome?????"
