(My understanding) It’s one year commitment post ATP. You’ll need 6 months minumum flying, plus probably 3+ months cumulative training prior to ATP. Can be longer depending on if you pick up 135 PIC duties at 1200 - less time building, better experience/checkride prep. So you’re closer to two years realistically.

And at the end of that time you’ll be as sharp and as well trained as you’ll ever be in your career, with very well respected experience on the resume and over 1000 135 commuter multi pic, which is sufficient for the left seat in 121... Stay another year and flow to Spirit and the A320...
