That's the mindset many of us had when hired before 9/11 and got to suck up the dark decade (and a half) before getting to move on.
Hopefully it never happens to you. But when/if it does, you and many others will see in in a different perspective.
I was around before 9/11, but I understand why there is a need to focus on new hires and attract new blood. Without them and an influx of them priming the system, ExpressJet is dead. We can have top rates of $175/hour, but $175x0=0
