I’ve been using the telex 850 for a few years on the bus . Easy to store , no batteries , light weight , works with captains that use the terrible oem headset or guys who do bring their own . Dan commonly find them used online and just get new ear pads and boom cover .
If I pick up a set of 850s, would they be good enough for the rest of the fleet when I jump to something else (louder)? Not planning to go to the guppy, but maybe 756 or one of the heavies.
