On this forum I see the lists of airlines from which CAL has hired pilots to fill it's newhire classes. Most are regional airlines and almost all are CFR Part 121 or 135 airlines. Last year I left a regional airline to get some international heavy jet expierence so I now work for a foreign carrier. I've heard that US carriers like to hire current 121 pilots. Does CAL hire pilots from foreign carriers? Would I have a more competetive application if I were currently working for a Part 121 air carrier?
