No airline job is safe. All it would take is a major event to get people to stop buying airline tickets.....return of Spanish flu, terrorist attacks in multiple locations, large enough tax increase (look at state of NJ proposed aviation fuel tax), major volcanic eruption on Iceland, etc. At some point the music will stop. Anyone listening to pundits and believing otherwise will learn it on their own....
