however the flight director in speed mode in the ERJ isn't much better. While it doesn't go from 15 degrees to 2.5, it porpoises enough to make the guys riding out on the tip of the diving board annoyed.

The honeywell also has issues with turning in the wrong direction initially when changes are made to the FMS (heard a theory on why once...made "sense") which is also annoying. Getting in an out is nice, having the low ceiling/ raised floorboards is annoying for height though.

And i believe the 145 has two climb profiles in the AFM...one is the 270/.56 that we use, and the other is a 290/.65 which actually makes for a much smoother climb...IMHO.
