I am your age and recently changed careers into flying for AW. The sim time helped me transition better from the single engine piston to 250 knot plus operations. Also, look at Restricted ATP requirements. You might be closer than you think!
Thanks for the sim advise. I’m actually concerned about being “behind” coming out of a C-150. I’ll start looking for a sim. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
