FedEx is the stronger company. I’ve always wanted FedEx. I live in MEM. More time with family. A better contract that makes scheduling much more flexible. I could go on. I wouldn’t have interviewed if I didn’t want the job.
I still look over in awe at the hub as I drive by to begin my commute.

AA has hired about 3500 out of 15,000 in the past 5 years.
You would have a great career at AA retiring at 3%, especially with how quickly you'll get into the upper half of the list. You'll have an even better career living in base. Even an easy commute adds about 21 days away from home per year, just commuting to and from work (losing 5 hours each commute). I couldn't imagine living in base of a top tier airline and passing on a job offer, especially with how little you have invested at AA. Congrats on your dream job!
