DL was at 12,500 at their merger. They are now at 14,500 and still growing. American was at 14,500 at their merger.
We have not grown...yet.
We didn’t have 12,500 “active” pilots when the merger happened. Between CAL and UAL there were 1600 furloughees. So you’re measuring “growth” strictly by looking at the seniority list, even though we have more planes, flights and block hours.
Cool story.
