PIC 121 experience will benefit you, as well PIC turbine in general.

Nobody's going to care much what it was that you've flown.



Thank you! That is what I've been thinking as well. All my friends that are recently retired keep telling me to get a job flying 737 as that is what all the legacies fly and they want me to get a job with the legacies. My response to them is I don't think the legacies care much what "type" of airplane one flies as long as it is a jet with a two pilot crew, to a certain extent of course. Also, I want to go someplace where I want to be in case I never get a call from the legacies. As long as I like the job and it pays enough to provide a good living for me and my family, I'm ok with staying there more long term. I think there is a difference in mind set from the guys that are recently retiring vs the guys that still have 20+ yrs left to fly.
