The inability to be released right now by the NMB is not a reason to accept a subpar contract. Other leverage exists.
We will not be released ever by the people that currently make up the NMB. Maybe they will be changed three to seven years from now.
Your premise is that it doesn't matter. I think it is a huge problem. It's like going battle without a gun, maybe we have a grenade or two, but we definitely are missing a key component of our arsenal and we are less effective.
