I'd argue his point WAS close to accurate. Being senior to the plug has not allowed folks in many cases to be awarded the category of their choice. I personally wouldn't say I can hold something my standing AE bid has not been able to achieve. Sure, things will likely change in the year ahead, but that doesn't help a guy who isn't flying where he wants despite the makeup of that category's list.
