NWA has bdeen planning to sell Pinnacle shares for a long time. So that has no connection to NWA Delta merger rumor. It just supports the statements made by senior NWA CAs that NWA is planning to reduce Pinnacle flights and shift them over to Mesaba and Compass. Delta and NWA are such different airlines it would be easier to believe UAL Delta merger rumor.
no this cant be done. they cant take anymore flying from us, unless they go back into bankruptcy to get the 10 year contract thrown out they signed with us. i believe 124 planes is the lowest they can go with us unless we pick up a considerable amount of flying from another carrier. then who cares. as long as i am flying and have a job it could be for nwa or for delta, or united.... same crap different airline.
