You can keep being as sarcastic as you want, but the truth is the company has the full ability to do as you describe under our current contract with NO financial penalty. Further truth, it just doesn't happen. Our point to point route structure is not conducive to random reroutes, and it is more efficient to deadhead someone from a domicile to cover flying than reassigning someone already on a trip. The new reassignment language provides pilot protections from a very unlikely scenario.
