As far as the approaches into Mexico, when I was on the CRJ, with Jepp plates, I had to guesstimate as to what I selected in the box, if I remembered correctly, it was a game of matching fixes from enroute to terminal.
The Jepps have the IAFs labeled with designators that correspond to what goes in the box. A common one is D013N, which is the IAF that feeds from the UJ17 airway into QRO. These designators are not printed on the Nav Blue charts; all you get is radial and DME from the VOR.
