I personally don't understand why they need to contemplate and ponder on the topic. Military flight training blows out civilian training out of the water! Granted, a checkride is due, because some of the mil stuff is different from civi, but not by much! As someone previously posted, I would much rather be stuck with a 300 hour kid fresh out of UPT versus a civi 'factory pilot' any day!
