We could pick up trips from pilots at SkyWest. It was great. I never worked on reserve and picked up LGA turns out of ORD on my days off. Easy money. I made almost as much on first year pay at SkyWest doing that as I do now.

How is that even possible... I’ll assume you were at SKW when newhire was closer to $40/hr and 1st year at Alaska is $89.89. Things aren’t perfect here but working my tail off as a Captain at SKW on year 6/7 pay was only about $10k more than what I made my first year here at Alaska.
