Like this ???
A Mesaba CRJ900 Captain flows up and his former position is reserved as FLOW124. A year and 400 hires later, NWA is hit by a fuel crunch and decides to furlough 402 pilots. Does this mean the one pilot senior to the former Mesaba Captain gets the CRJ900 Capt slot. What if he or she was hired by NWA from Mesa with minimum qualifications ?
I was under the impression that only those individuals who flowed up from Mesaba could flow back to Mesaba.
Guess the mediators will figure it all out.
