The problem is Nav-Blue can sort, but not for bids, so I have to make multiple bid-lines for what should be an easy sort:
Award pairings with credit 21 hours
Award pairings with credit 20 hours
Award pairings with credit 19 hours
but also by check in, and check out.
If I want to "sort" by 1 hour credit change between 30 and 15, and a 2 hour windows for check-in/check-out (with an 8 hour blackout for night hours), I am looking at 15*8*8=960 bid-lines.
If next month the day changes by one, i have to change each individual line (I can select multiple line with the same parameters, but not edit those????)
What the....
At the very least I should be able to sort pairings by Credit/TAFB, and start late, arrive early. If there is anything a computer should be better than me it is sorting a big amount of data in an order I want.
Prefer off Mondays 8am to 23:59
Prefer off tuesdays
Prefer off Wednesdays 00:00-14:00
Award pairing if pairing release time is Saturday before noon if pairing length > 3 pairing average daily credit > 5;30
Award pairing if pairing release time is Sunday before noon if pairing length > 3 pairing average daily credit > 5;30
Fyi navblue always goes for max credit inside of an award line. You're looking for away to make it sound like the software is a piece of crap but it isn't. Find me a line in any base any seat any month of the year that has your requirements and I'll shut up.
That bid I posted above is a good start. Of course you can keep cascading the credit down etc. The only question I have is: what do you mean by early release sat/sun. Would a 18:00 release Saturday for 20:0 crwsit be better than a Sunday release at noon for 21:00? That's a crucial difference in bid strategy
