None of the guys in my class at expressjet had to take the written portion of the interview. A couple guys had to do the sim portion but that’s because they weren’t actively flying or havnt been doing anything as far as IFR flying goes.

Also, PSA wants me to take my military hours totals and put them as one line in a civilian logbook prior to the interview. What is more official than my actual military documents? I don’t even have a civilian logbook. Besides the fact that they can easily be manipulated? Maybe I’m missing something here? Thoughts anyone?

Thanks!!
