Does anyone know if when I get to the online application portion where it wants me to input my hours, do they want me to use a conversion factor like some other airlines do? We only get 5 min taxi time allowance per sortie in the AF, and I've got over 2K sorties, so a conversion of 1.2 or 1.3 per sortie (like some Airlines do to military hours) could bump my time up. But, I do meet mins anyway. Also, I'm going to be living in LAS if that has any impact on my appeal to them. Thanks for any advice.
If you meet the mins then I wouldn't worry about the conversion factor unless it restricted you when it came time to upgrade (3500hrs I believe, probably not an issue being retired AF). There are a few folks that live in LAS and we operate out of there regularly so chances of a home start or end are possible. Day one would usually be an airline flight to Nor or SoCal I'd bet.
