I think you can get a few more points by bumping that up to 10 to 12 letters. They don't have to been internal. Get some from people you've flown with at your airline you can comment on your flying as well as some you know you personally outside of aviation who can comment on your character, interpersonal relationships, etc.
Very good information here. I think 10-12 might be excessive, but you could certainly double it to 8 or so.
Larry is correct. Your LOR's aren't required to be from United pilots. Consider getting some from those you work with in your flight office or the charity you work for.
