If you go on record saying you knew you were not fit but flew anyway, you just admitted to an intentional violation. That would get the ASAP thrown out for sure, and they might even be able to use the report against you!
Agreed. That doesn't mean it can't be done. Allot can happen on a 6+ flight. "my throat felt itchy and I thought that there was a chance I might be coming down with something but, due to the pressure from the company I ignored the itching. By the time I landed in XXX I felt that I was not have been at my best if there had been an emergency.... "
