When we did our CA charm school this past summer, Kirby came in and discussed what the strategic vision and direction was for each hub. With respect to Denver his answer was something along the lines of: "Denver is our most profitable hub, and our goal is to build it into what DFW is for American".

Remember that peeps in Willis are looking out several years....not the tomorrow and next week that most pilots operate on. However, his comments, combined with things we are starting to see (increased destinations, flights, etc. out of DEN), combined with 185 Max aircraft coming.... You can sort of start to connect the dots (if you maintain that strategic, long-term, overall outlook).
