Please explain. Do you have something lined up as a direct entry captain? And who told you that you won't get to fly? I usually block around 85-95 hours a month. Also I'm not so sure were overstaffed with FO's anymore, it's getting harder and harder for me to drop legs off trips.
I think he's just saying he wishes he could go straight in to a captain spot since he can't handle Comair's FO wages (which are pretty much up there with AWAC and ASA as some of the best 2nd year FO pay around). Sound kinda like he's whining to me!
