Most if not all JCBAs will set a limit for what if any sim instruction can be outsource (scope, badically) as well as any pay differential, increased guarantee, etc. At my shop, all checking events must be performed by a seniority list pilot and most sim instruction is also done by seniority list instructors. LCA will never, ever be outsourced.
