The company controls BLG. So you might make a little more TAFB but if the AVG BLG is 2 hours less than say it was 2 years ago, where is the gain.

Also when things swing and we are short staffed again, expect the BLG to go up, but also expect the lnes to be optimized so more of us have to work more days per month.
That's all part of my point. You have to keep it simple because there are too many variables. The rig change helps some, is a wash for others, and the optimization of schedules is making most people work harder in a given number of days. The over 8 capture is a boon to some but no help to the poor crew doing 5 or 6 Subic turns after crossing to NRT. We outsmarted ourselves because everyone decided the 4 cornerstone issues were some Holy Grail. An across the board pay raise (a real one...not 3%) would have worked out a lot better for everyone and there would be no question of "losing" sick or vacation time.
