Any ATL ER FOs care to weigh in on what they like/dislike about the flying, deliberating about whether or not to try for it on this AE or shoot for the bus in the future...I know it will be retired probably within the next 7-10 years but have always been intrigued by it and wanted to fly it. Thanks
The 7ER is a good place to evaluate the type of flying you like best. The fleet has the widest variety of trips in the system. There are 2 leg 4 day trips to SA, 3 or 6 day Europe, 1 leg/day transcons or 4 leg days. Look through the bid packs and wide reports to see what your seniority holds. If you like variety, look no further. The 330 is much more limited in the variety, so it may not be a good choice if you are unsure about long haul.
