Meanwhile, we have tons of qualified folks already on property doing everything they can to be a sim instructor, ground instructor etc and being told “no” because they can’t staff this place correctly. It definitely seems that there has been a bunch of that going on.
There have also been qualified line folks getting told “yes” who then to and botch their next CQ. That certainly doesn’t help them.
