So, who is keeping up with inflation since 1978, pay wise? Anybody besides pro-athletes?

I don't dispute that I'm not keeping up with inflation since 1978 (heck, I voted no), but to condem the career as unworthy of all our efforts cause it's not keeping up with inflation since 1978 seems a litte over the top.

I'm not much for stats, by tell me what percentage of the US population makes over 200K?
