It is pretty much a 2 year seat lock regardless. On paper they claim 1 year if you had no choice but they have it conatructed in a way that everyone had a choice. Or at least they claim you did.

Some recent new hires should comment on that but the 1 year thing is a marketing fantasy.

Plan on a 2 year seat lock.

Also plan on transitioning into ORD / LGA and the transferring to BOI.

Get the scope when you are here - but basically it is “this is the way we have always done it” MO of not allowing people transitioning in certain bases for operational needs - in other words: plan on transitioning into a base with an operation need. And the transfer bases once you have been awarded ER7 transition class.
