So are those rates amendable in 2009 with the rest of the contract?

The reason the rates were voted down the first time was because the company wanted to lock them in for 6 years, effectively capping what ALPA would be able to negotiate for the -100/-300 rates when the contract becomes amendable in 2009. Not good, especially when you look at Horizon's rate being $10 more NOW (looking at 10-yr CA).
