Why would a Comair pilot be considered a scab if they fly their routes while the Delta pilots are on strike? The Delta pilots weren't scabs when they continued to fly while the Comair pilots were on strike in 2001. The only way they would be considered scabs is if they flew extra flights on routes that mainline was flying. As long as the frequency of the flights remains the same, then there is no scabbing.
I know this because I am a Comair pilot who walked the line in 2001. I wish the Delta pilots all the best and hope that they can stop these management tactics.
