There might be a reverse flow, as the Delta pilots want better flowback provisions in the next contract. If Delta over hires in the next decade, that might be an issue for guys sticking around here.
If it remained a serious ask, it would be a potential boon for EDV pilots for the company to have a need to negotiate it.

It would, and EDV pilots would be right to expect an actual flow up in that case IMO, although it's possible something else could be offered that would be palatable. I don't really think they will put a lot of effort into getting it though in the current environment.
I do find it interesting that having to do an interview is considered hazing now though. As far as I can tell, AA is the only major that even has a real flow. I would like to see higher rates for the DGI, but I don't think the concept of a guaranteed interview is a horrible thing in and of itself.
