I would only say that as these newer airplanes are coming in with very advanced avionics,, if you listen to the union and management, they are getting tired of paying for guys to wash out of FS with problems that are related to technology. 65 year old retire wash out rate is like 30% or something, Hence the sim is coming back to the interview, as for attrition, ya, did not seem to be a concern except sales have been outpacing capacity in last year and that side of the house wants more options?

As for the new contract, ya if you want to pay me an extra $118 an hour to fly more than 1.8 hours a day, or sit in an FOB watching golf for more than 12 hours, on a 7 day tour, for my 4.9 months of work I do a year on the 7/7 schedule with vacation, I will happly do it until I am tired and then I call fatigued. $100K to work 5 months a year ant bad money especially when you include all the new benefits and perks. I agree the company learned how to milk the cow on this contract but I get more $$$ for my milk!
