Hello Everyone,
I was curious when would be the best time to apply for a position at NetJets. Is it acceptable to apply below ATP minimums for a class date like a regional or ULCC or is it best to wait to exceed the minimums prior to applying?
Thank you for the feedback!

I don't know what the average time is, but the company is now giving conditional job offers to pilots that are still many months away from having their restricted ATP. I heard they have offered positions to pilots that won't even start training here until 2024.

The mentor chair and the program is one step away from a McDonald’s McFlurry machine.

They are paid from day one of indoc. The problem is that if they sit forever before getting on line, they are losing out on potentially over 10K in FDP if they sit a long time waiting for the 350, or perhaps even if they get through training fast, they may have been assigned the XLS and still make 10K less than someone on the 350 hired the same day and who also gets an extra month or two at home waiting for training. The entire FDP system is exceedingly unfair to those that have no choice in what fleet they are put in and it is still quite unfair to those that are off of seat lock and have some choice.

FDP is a nice bonus at the end of the year. I don’t guarantee it because it’s soft money.
VDP is different for that month but that’s the only thing I guarantee when I get it awarded.

If you’re coming here thinking FDP is part of your reasoning then you’re making a big mistake.
