Contractually the only permitted start days for an 8/6 are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and the Saturdays are limited to a percentage. Everyone I know on the 8/6 is either a Monday or Wednesday start, the 8/6 is not a very senior schedule. You’ll always start on the same day unless you tour slide.
I had a honeymoon last October that was planned before my hire date in March, I brought it up in my interview in January, in indoc, and after I received my schedule after IOE. My vacation bid ended up getting approved for the week I needed, and I submitted a 1 day tour slide to make sure I could get back in time for work on the back end. The slide was denied, but I emailed in and said ‘I’m just physically not going to be able to get to work that day, reference my previous messages regarding my honeymoon, what can I do to make this work?’ and the slide was approved on the resubmit with no fuss at all.

The vacation bid year goes from October 1 through Sept 30 the following calendar year. Newhires accrue vacation time to be used starting the following vacation year. This time is two weeks of vacation, prorated based on time on property before the vacation year. So someone hired 4/1 would have six months on property by October and would have exactly one week of vacation to bid for.

Flyfalcons is correct on vacation. What you may be confusing is PTO. PTO can not be used until you are off probation (unless you have serious circumstances like a child being born, some friends of mine were able to burn PTO as a form of paternity leave in their first year).

Hello all, I have a question and hope this is the right place to put it. I see the hiring minimums are 1500 and I was wondering if 500 hours can be waived if I qualify for R ATP minimums which I do at 1012 hours. That is all thanks for reading.

Yes, they will hire if you qualify for Restricted ATP. They will interview you without the ATP-CTP but will require it to be completed before you show up on day 1

hiring Process
Hello,
Yesterday, I had a virtual Microsoft Teams interview with my recruiter. She went through my resume and asked me reasons why I left each companies.
Them TMAAT questions and customer services and conflicts in cockpit. Then basically, she talked about salaries, upgrade time, netjets' fleet and etc.
I have answered all questions pretty nicely and she seems to be happy with my answers. Still, I read some reviews that they've got offers at the end of conversations.
However, my interviewer said I will get the answers within a week. I am just wondering it is a good or bad sign. Also, How long will it take to get some answers from the HR?
