I know it’s one of those “ I have a friends uncles brother” hearsay rumors on an Internet forum but I posted in the PSA forum a few weeks ago that I was told by someone who was at the meeting in ATL that Delta actually is giving preference to AA WOs pilots that meet their hiring metrics as a strategic business move. They said it would be ramping up over the next few years to strain AAs feed. This person has a position in the company to know this kind of information and no reason to lie about it.
I’m going to throw the bull****** flag. Delta would be stupid to try to pull something like that when looking at the number of retirements that American has coming up knowing American would turn around and be able to drain every DCI carrier or captains in a single year if they felt like it.
