I've been using Blue Skies Flying Service in Lake in the Hills, 3CK, to get back into flying. I did my BFR and IPC with them and they are one of the best schools in the area. They've also won awards for the best flight school and national CFI last year. Nice, well-maintained fleet and each aircraft is hangared year-round. Check them out:
