Nope. Even the United CEO is worried about the sort of damage that adverse PR is going to do to the industry, and the sort of customer protection legislation or FAA rules that might come from it.

Also - not only did they arrest the woman - they took the 14 yo daughter into child protective custody for the 12 hours she was in jail. You have to really **** of a Vegas airport Cop to make them arrest you. Those guys are “senior mamas” and it’s considered pretty gravy train as far as the Po Po goes.
It doesn’t matter. Technically, Dr. Dao was probably in the right. He wound up with a generous settlement from United anyway:
