We ARE underpaid in the ACMI world, vs the "Big 5", but, luckily for us, there is a Pilot Shortage. FedEx, Delta, Endeavor, Atlas, JAL, China Southern, and Emirates, as examples, are ALL are competing for the same pilots. If ANY one of the above is sub-standard in some way, they will have a difficult time finding pilots.

Atlas AAWW (Atlas/Polar/Southern/Titan) wants to expand, and it seems they want to expand A LOT. I believe, if Atlas is to successfully expand A LOT, then they will need an Industry Leading contract. If Atlas wants to expand somewhat, an Industry Standard contract will work. If they keep things as they are, Atlas will shrink. From what we have heard, the last 12 months, Atlas/Southern recruiting new hire numbers have not kept pace with attrition.
