I don’t get MCI. We just don’t do much there compared to other focus cities. Maybe if/when the new terminal gets built there’ll be expansion but I don’t see it.
DAL - HOU is 208 nm
MDW - STL is 218 nm
I don’t get why people say STL is too close to MDW to be a base when DAL/HOU are closer. We do more flights out of STL than we did in LAS/DEN when those two became bases.
Because besides it’s geographic location STL doesn’t offer much. MDW
Is both a good connecting spot through the Midwest as well as being in Chicago, a city a lot of people actually go to. That’s what network planning guy told us
